Malachi founded Skyline Recordings back in 2005, when he was at the forefront of the then-emerging world of sampling, cut and paste, breaks, and beats. Skyline Recordings released music Mal both loved and made - from the brilliant, trip-hop pioneers, The Herbaliser - of which Mal was one of the originators - to the unique sound of Flying Fish, a group Mal did with Ed Moris - masters of the renowned Grandstand theme (completely sold out..)
In 2019, Frankie joined Malachi, bringing fresh energy and ideas to Skyline Recordings. Together, they have expanded the label's focus and spend a lot of energy backing incredible artists, with their own music - such as the phenomenal Betty Black and out-standing Louise Marshall. Today, Skyline Recordings has over 30 titles - many of which have been frequently played out on BBCR2; Solar Radio; Jazz Fm and more.
