Our Story
Where it all began..
Malachi began his DJ journey at 16, driven by a passion for 60's and 70s breaks and beats and samples, plus his desire to share his enormous love of music. Over the decades, he has become renowned for his ability to breathe new life into the timeless sounds of the great but often rare classics, captivating audiences with his super funky DJ sets and finding brilliant original music to release.
Along came Frankie..
In 2019, Malachi met Frankie, whilst walking their dogs. With COVID stopping most things, bar the vinyl industry, it was only natural for Frankie to help out with Malachi's business. Together, Malachi and Frankie have nourished both Dynamite Cuts and Skyline Recordings which are now two of the most highly respected indie record labels in the UK.
Our Growing Community..
Their collaboration has not only brought joy to fans of breaks, beats, samples and classics, but also to those who love modern, interesting, funky sounds made by the industry's top musicians on Skyline Recordings. Since 2022, Malachi and Frankie also work together as radio DJs on London Music Radio, ensuring that their passion for fantastic music and belly laughter reaches as many like minded people as possible.
